Coalition Coordinator – State of the Union Coalition (SOTU)

Osai is a lawyer, human rights advocate, gender equality specialist and governance advisor. She is the State of the Union (SOTU) Coalition Coordinator where she provides leadership and management of the SOTU project and Coalition. She is the interface between members, partners, and the team, coordinating African Union engagements missions by the Coalition at national, regional and continental level.

Campaigns Assistant – State of the Union Coalition (SOTU)

Sarah is the campaigns assistant for the SOTU coalition. Her role is to support the coalition secretariat and members of the coalition in developing and implementing their campaign strategies and activities. She has experience in the field of communication from journalism, media relations, and Public relations to Photography and creative design. Her extensive knowledge, experience and personal drive is an asset to the SOTU coalition as it strives to ensure African citizens act for a better Africa.

Communications Officer – State of the Union Coalition (SOTU)

Victor is an all rounded communications professional with a wide range of experience and expertise in diverse communications environment. He is highly skilled and knowledgeable in development communications and advocacy.
He is in charge of the communications and media docket for the SOTU Coalition. His role is to develop and lead the implementation of the communications and media strategy for SOTU to accelerate active citizenship, governance, the realization of the fundamental freedoms and human rights contained in various key AU policy standards and legal instruments and effective governance.

Research and Policy Officer – State of the Union Coalition (SOTU)

A political scientist by training, Andrew’s academic bias is in political economy and public administration. His professional experience spans the fields of economic diplomacy (trade), policy governance and advocacy, and human resources management. Andrew leads in the design and implementation of SOTU’s research and policy analysis activities around the African Union (AU) instruments, Policy frameworks, and Standards. He also leads in coordination, identification, and analyses of relevant policy issues of SotU-focus at national and continental levels in selected African countries.
